This week we wound up the Aidan and Hilda Week zoom retreat talks with the value of communal memory for vitalising sacred bonds and birthings. The retreatants 'Take-away' was the RAINBOW ARCH: Reconciliation * Apostolic ministries * Indigenous mission * Nations guided by God * Births lit up by God * Overcomers * Writings that inspire A Art that draws people Godwards Ring of the Trinity Fellowship C Communications that challenge H Hospitality and Humility.
On the last night Ian Silk and his new wife Alison stayed overnight. He recalled how his four teenage sons had walked Lindidsfarne's pilgrim posts, learned about the first monastery's famous four brothers (including Chad and Cedd), and asked David Adam to give a blessing to these four brothers in the same spirit. Those brothers each now follow a vibrant, apostolic ministry.
Yesterday Graham and Ruth Booth stayed overnight after visiting family in Hull. God is at work on their island of Fetlar.
