'a Prophet Has Spoken'

‘In the belly of the Latin beast a Celtic prophet has spoken! Lord, help us to listen. As I read Brendan’s Return Voyage embarrassment swept through my soul, yet I was continuously born again with hope. In this beautiful and devastatingly liberating book Ray Simpson will teach you …’  C .Baxter Kruger, author of Patmos and The Shack Re-visited.

'Grandfather, Wakan-Tanka! You have been always, and before you nothing has been. There is no one to pray to but you.  The star nations all over the heavens are yours. You are older than all need, older than pain and prayer. Grandfather, Great Spirit, fill us with the light. Give us the strength to understand and the eyes to see. Teach us to walk the soft earth as relatives to all that live.' Luther Standing Bear: Lakota Sioux Peoples.  (Chapter 2)

'The very foundation of .. the American Dream was built on a mentality of theft, imperialism, anad supposed superiority. They had no sense that the Native people were made in God's image and might have been put on the land by God. They seem not to have reflected on Scripture verses such as 'Do you Israelites think you are more important to me than the Ethiopians? I brought you out of Egypt, but have I not done as much for other nations too?' (Amos 9:7)  Randy Woodley, Keetoowah Cherokee. (Chapter 3)

Timothy Joyce writes that the Celts 'are recognised as "the European Aborigines", like Native American Tribes already on the land with their own developed culture prior to being conquered, driven out or assimilated by more powerful invaders'. ... For many, Celtic spirituality is an expression of Christianity that will survive the top-down models of the fading Christendom era. (Chapter 4).

Could it be that the Creator has willed (the coming together of people who abandon themselves to the divine voyage) because he wants Indian, White, and African Americans to give up their idolatrous pursuits and ego-projected expressions of religion, and return to being Followers of the Way? (Chapter 5)

'Beautiful intro to a subject that is perhaps the number one spiritual, moral and ethical issue facing humanity in our time...'
