Norwich Busker

The last person I visited before I left my ministry in Norwich thirty years ago was a young man in a hospital who attacked me. He later explained it was because I had informed his family he was unwell and whereas I was his friend they, he then thought, were his enemies.

Every year on his birthday, St.Patrick's Day, he rings me. He is now sorry he attacked me because we are good friends. He has developed into the most loved busker in Norwich.  'I forgive all the bad things people have done to me', he says.  'I give all my takings to the poor'.

He likes Jesus and tries to be like him.  He goes to a cathedral for worship sometimes.

Can we be like this Norwich Busker?
